ELK MOUND - David R. Creaser, 56 of Elk Mound passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 5, 2018.
He was born Aug. 23, 1961, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Robert and Jewel (Lawson) Creaser and was a lifelong resident of Elk Mound.
On Sept. 6, 2003, David married Kim (Pederson) Rundle at Big Elk Creek Lutheran Church. They spent all of their time together enjoying life's simple things.
David was an avid outdoorsman and amazing carpenter. He was always happy working in his gardens and taking care of his chickens. His most recent adventures were trips to Port Washington salmon fishing. One of his greatest passions were spending time with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife, Kim; parents, Robert and Jewel Creaser of Elk Mound; his siblings, Deb (Greg) Creaser-Kipp, Cindy (Roger) Kopp, Vickie (John) Girard, Roxanne (Michael) Nugent; his stepchildren, Heather Rundle and Sara (Dan) Meyer; grandchildren, Jayden, Dylan, Marcus and Isabelle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and his close friend and sponsor, Chuck Wald.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie with Pastor Hal Schroetter officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
