John Goettl Obituary
Funeral services for John Goettl were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Edmund Doerre was celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment was in Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls.
Music during the Mass was provided by Betty Bresina and Nancy Haley. Jessie Omtmedt played a trumpet solo. Readings were given by Glynis Evans and Diane Schemenauer. Gift bearers were Gail Hanson, Tanner and Alexis Berg. Eucharistic Ministers were Joan Matthews, Phyllis Goettl and Kathy Michalek.
Casket bearers were Craig, Bryan, Jon, Curt and Jeff Goettl, Todd, Scot and Rocky Berg, BJ and Mike Michalek, Kent Schemenauer and Kevin Miller. Honorary casket bearers were Jason Shilha and David Matthews.
Tuesday evening The Rev. Doerre led the family, relatives and friends in a Christian Vigil Service at the Horan Funeral Home.
