LeRoy Kizer Obituary
LeRoy was a complex man.
He was responsible for supporting himself beginning at the age of eight. LeRoy was also in the Army during the Tet Offensive while serving in Vietnam.
LeRoy was in Co A 2nd battalion 10th infantry which is also known as the Wolfhounds. Their motto is No Fear On Earth. LeRoy served in Cu Chi, Hobo Jungle and Dau Tieng receiving 3 Purple Hearts and 3 Bronze Stars.
LeRoy was an accomplished diesel mechanic. He also had his Kenworth Conventional that he called Ol Blue.
He loved motorcycles, his springer spaniel Susie, and horses. He also loved his daughter Cherry Kizer Schesel, husband Scott Schesel, and Linda Amble and Family.
LeRoy will be buried in the spring, next to his father Leonard, at St. Paul's Cemetery in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
LeRoy was a protector and hero. We miss him very very much.

I went to school with Leroy, He was a hard guy to get to know. I remember him as being ruff around the edges. I again ran into him about 30 years ago at a store in Lake Elmo, Mn. we visited for a short time, talked a little about our service time then went on our way,
