Marie A. Bresina

Marie A. Bresina, 83, of 4026 County Hwy. P, Chippewa Falls, town of Hallie, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

She was born March 5, 1922, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Harvey "Van" and Mary M. (Sautner) Davis.

She married Clement A. Bresina on Oct. 14, 1940, at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls.

She was a bookkeeper for her husband's trucking business for 40 years.

Marie was a member of Holy Ghost Church.

She is survived by: one son, Charles (Nancy) of Chippewa Falls; five daughters, Marcella "Sally" (Bob Paulson) Reed of Chippewa Falls, Barbara Leland (Jim Beaudette) of Fall Creek, Mary Pat (Gary) Geissler, LouAnn Vogler (Wayne Steinmetz) and Debra (Steve) Short, all of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Betty Bohl of Milwaukee; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Clement A.; two sons-in-law, James Reed and Robert Leland; her parents; one brother, Wellington Davis, Sr.; one grandson, Anthony Reed; and one granddaughter, Victoria Bresina.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5 at Holy Ghost Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Edmund Doerre will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 and until 10 a.m. Friday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
