GLENWOOD CITY, Wis. - Michael Allen Warner, 65, of Glenwood City died Friday, April 7, 2017, at the Mayo Hospital, Luther Campus in Eau Claire, Wis.
Michael was born Aug. 29, 1951, in the town of Glenwood. He grew up on the family farm, attended schools in Glenwood City, and graduated from Glenwood City High School with theclass of 1969. Michael would be united in marriage to Sherry Link. Though their union in marriage would later dissolve, they would be blessed with three children. Michael would later re-marry to Cindy L. Rassbach.
Michael worked many jobs over the years to provide for his family. He worked on the farm, in factories, and drove over-the-road truck, but Michael and his love of people and for wheeling and dealing, lead him into sales. He would own and operate "Boats That Float" for 20 years. His witty sense of humor was appreciated by those who knew him best. Michael also had a lifelong love for animals, caring for many special pets over the years. Outside of work, Michael enjoyed traveling with Cindy to many of the states. Michael also enjoyed time spent with family, getting out on the 4-wheeler, camping, boating, and going to his lake-shore property.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; his children, Chad (Stephany) Warner, Justin Warner and Samantha (Clint) Hetchler; grandchildren, Sky, Hunter, Grant, Allie, Porter and Dezaray; mother, Donna Warner; siblings, Don (Connie) Warner, Debbie (Gary) Stevens, Nancy (George) Stutter and Penny Warner; special dog, Precious; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Frank Warner; his brother, Bruce Warner; and infant brother, Frank Jr.
Funeral services for Michael Warner will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 221 Second St. W., in Deer Park, Wis. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the church. Services will be followed by burial at the Greenwood Cemetery in Emerald, and a luncheon at the Forest Town Hall. Memorials may be given to the discretion of the family.
Services have been entrusted to the O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin, Wis.
