Richard Jacobs Obituary
Richard "Dick" Jacobs, 84, of Chippewa Falls, town of LaFayette, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at his residence with St. Joseph's Hospice.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at St. Charles Church in Chippewa Falls. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Dear Jacobs family,
I remember Mr. Jacobs as a faithful member of the parish and a true artist with his photography. I celebrated a Mass for him at the chapel of the hospital in La Crosse. I wish you a blessed Christmas and New Year.

Marion and family,
I had the pleasure of being a member of Rotary with Dick and enjoyed his company for the many years he was a member. Now Pat has taken that charge. Pam and I have many memories of times with Dick and Marion as they did pictures for the Kell family. Our prayers are with the family.

I have known you for 33+ years now & will cherish the many many fond memories of conventions, seminars, the paddle boat ride in LaCrosse that fall & all the conversations we had! He led a wonderful life, heaven has gained a very special man!

So sorry for your loss. I remember getting my senior picture taken (twice) at the studio on Bay Street. I think Dick took 99% of all of the senior pictures in Chippewa from the time you all came to town, along with wedding photos. Everyone trusted him.
Dick will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Prayers for peace to all of you.
