Richard Parent Obituary
A funeral service for Richard J. Parent, 83, of the Chippewa Manor Retirement Community, formerly of the town of Lafayette, was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Fr. Robert Hoekstra officiated, with music provided by Judy Brist.
Interment followed the service at Prairie View Cemetery, with military rites conducted by the Eau Claire VFW Post #305. Casket bearers included Rich Collum, Scott Licht, Lance Zimmerman, Kurt Prosecky, Kris Parent, and Craig Zimmerman. Honorary casket bearers were Ben Parent, Cory Parent, Shane Larson, and Ryan Collum.
