Scott Stricker Obituary

EDGERTON - Scott R. Stricker, age 51, of Edgerton, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at the UW Hospital in Madison, with his family and friends by his side. Scott was born on April 16, 1963, in Edgerton, to Robert and Carolyn (Hollo) Stricker.

He attended Edgerton High School and graduated in the Class of 1981. On April 17, 1999, he married Dana Beck. Later, he would marry Linda Hollenbeck. Scott worked for Nelson Young Lumber Company in Edgerton for many years.

Scott was a member of Central Lutheran Church in Edgerton. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Lake Ripley Country Club in Cambridge. He played for the Home Talent baseball for the Albion Tigers and later liked to watch the games. Scott was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He loved and cherished his time with his son, Rowan.

Scott is survived by his wife, Linda; his son, Rowan, and his mother, Dana; his parents, Robert and Carolyn Stricker of Edgerton; and brother, Steve (Nicki) Stricker and their children, Bobbi and Izzi of Madison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at CENTRAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Fassett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATION SERVICE, Edgerton, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Scott's name.
