Steve J. Jeatran, age 61, of St. Louis Park, Minn., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chris; his children, Josh (Jill), grandsons, Owen and Bennett, and Molly (Mark); his mother, Esther; and brother, Jack (Leslie) and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob, and other family members.
A true entrepreneur with the will to live life to the fullest, he was a respected man. He was kind and generous, and loved the outdoors and being with family and friends, and he was an avid hunter and gardener.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to North Memorial Hospice or American Cancer Society .
A memorial service will be held Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park, Minn.
