Doris Davie Obituary

Doris Ann Torian Davie, 77, Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY. Doris, the daughter of the late Ora Lee Torian and Arthur Torian, was born on July 24, 1948, in Christian County, KY. Doris was a member of Marable Temple City of Refuge COGIC; there she served on the Mother's Board. She was employed as an office assistant with Dr. Allen's Chiropractor. She enjoyed going to church and being active in ministry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Davie; and granddaughter, Jenicia Bussell. Survivors include her children, Jennifer Yarbrough, Francenia Ford, Dennis (Mary) Sivils, Paula Davie, Angel Davie, and John Davie; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; uncle, Sammie Torian; a host of nieces and nephews.
