Dorothy Hopson Obituary
Dorothy, the daughter of the late Vesta and George V. Sholar II, was born on February 1, 1946, in Trigg County,KY.
Dorothy was a member of Second Baptist Church where she was a previous member of the Pastor's Aide. She was employed as a nurse's aide at Christian Health Center. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, being around and caring for people.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Henry Hopson; siblings, Pete Sholar, Lemon Sholar, Carl Sholar, George V. Sholar III, Shelby Sholar, Ralph D. Sholar, Lena Mae Wilson, Courtney Harris, and Zaebrulah Wesley.
Survivors include her children, Francina Grubbs, Yvette "Becky" Williams, Elaine Greer, Bonita (Charles) Ferguson, Dexter (Charmaine) Hopson, Laketa Hopson; siblings, Loretta (Kenneth) Howard and Jeanetta Amorin; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; devoted friends, Leslie Avery and Dave Gray; a host of nieces and nephews.
