Rudolph Roberts Obituary

Retired SFC Rudolph Roberts, Jr., 78, Hopkinsville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Hopkinsville, KY.

Rudolph, the son of the late Rudolph Roberts, Sr. and Rosie Clarkson, Stepfather; Speagin Clarkson, was born on December 12, 1946, in Elgin, Texas.

Rudolph was a member of Durrett Avenue Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing with the Male Chorus. He was employed with International Paper in the shipping department. He was an U.S. ARMY Veteran after serving 21 years. He was a member of the Pioneer's Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Angelicia "Sharon" Roberts; siblings, Rose Mary Roberts and Melvin Roberts; son, Ivan Keith Roberts; and grandson, Calvin Dominique Brown III.

Survivors include his children, Sheila (Theldon) Richardson, Monique (Frank II) Bruce, and Nicole Vincent; siblings, Mertis Thomas, DeWayne Roberts, Gloria Roberts, Deborah Roberts, and Preston Roberts; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; special friend, Gloria Sebree; a host of nieces and nephews.

I met Rudolph at International Paper. There was never a day gone by that he didn´t have a smile on his face. He is very well thought of and respected. We will miss him greatly. Many prayers for his family
