Brian Brumfiel Obituary

Brian Evan Brumfiel, 62, Marion, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at his residence in Marion. He was born in San Diego, California, on October 9, 1960, to Allen and Bettylou (Kretzar) Brumfiel.

Brian graduated from Marion High School in 1979. He worked at several places in Grant County and at the Honeywell Center in Wabash. Brian had a passion for cooking, and it was definitely evident in the food he prepared. He truly was Grant County's best cook.

Brian loved his family, especially his granddaughter. He enjoyed going fishing and hanging out on his property that he called "The Country Club". He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Tyler Allen Brumfiel, Cody Brumfiel, and Holly Brumfiel, as well as his granddaughter, Josie Brumfiel.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rex Brumfiel.

A graveside service to celebrate Brian's life will begin at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Estates of Serenity in Marion.

Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
