Cathy Bailey Obituary
Cathy E. Bailey, 63, Marion, passed away at 6:11 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, September 1, 1961, to Earl and Sadie (Garrett) Wisner.
Cathy graduated from Marion High School. She loved soap operas and music. Spending time going to concerts and going to the casino with Charlie were some of her favorite activities. Most of all though, she loved spending time with her family at cookouts and family get-togethers.
Survivors include the love of her life, Charles Smith; children, Ellen Lamb of Marion, Jeffrey (Tina) Lamb of Marion, Stephaine (Fletcher McWhirt) Bailey of Marion, Daisy Duncan of Marion, Charles "Bub" Smith, Jr. of Marion, Jason Wayne Smith, and David (Eileen) Smith; grandchildren, Makayla Ball, Alexus Hawkins, Zoey McWhirt, Skyla McWhirt, Dallas Lamb, Jada Lamb, Kalyn Adams, Kiah Lamb, Harley (Alyssa Llhrick) Auler, and Hailey Raucci; great-grandchildren, Iylah, Treydynn, Bentley; siblings, Mark (Deanna) Wisner, Brenda (Timothy) Stiers, Bruce Wisner; as well as her beloved dog, Jax, and beloved cat, Rizzo,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl M. and Sadie M. Wisner; and daughter, Carie Smith.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Cathy's life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Allen Hudson officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
