Ginger K. Poe, 60, Marion, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on June 12, 1961, to Truman and Annie (Mosley) Jones.
Ginger graduated from Marion High School in 1979 and was actively involved with the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) in Grant County. She had also worked at Meijer in Marion for eight years. Ginger loved puzzles, unicorns, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her sons, Darren (Christalyn) Jones of Montpelier and Allen (Carolyn) Jones of Starke, FL; daughter, Stacy (Kenny) Harrison of Archer, FL; grandchildren, Summer, Austin, Kyle, Cheyenne, Aubree, Alex, Jett, Braelyn, and Brilyn; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ricky Jones, Sr., Robert Jones, and Kenitra Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jimmy Poe.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Ginger's life will begin at 1:00 pm with burial taking place at Grant Memorial Park.

So sorry to learn of Ginger“s passing. It has been so many years since I was in Marion. Believe it was when my mom, Clara Jones, passed away. Hope to re-connect with people I know from Marion when I return. Last time I came to Marion with my young children it was by train! Perhaps Amtrak comes there now. Blessings to all. Aunt Shirley
