Kathy L. Hollars, 62, Marion, passed away at 10:01 am on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Parkview Wabash Hospital in Wabash. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, September 6, 1960, to Merrill and Olive (Phifer) Hall. She was married to John Hollars, who survives.
Kathy graduated from Marion High School and was a cook for 20 years with Indiana Wesleyan University, retiring in 2017. In her younger years, Kathy enjoyed fishing and target shooting. She was also a big NASCAR fan. Most of all, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, Brian (Telisa) Hall of LaFontaine and Travis Hall of Marion; grandson, Brian Hall, Jr.; granddaughters, Katelyn Hall, Sierra Adams, and Juliana Turnock; and sisters, Paula Springer of LaFontaine and Rhonda Watkins of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Merrill D. Hall, Jr.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Kathy's life will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Darrell Smith officiating.
