Kristopher L. Linton, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on December 11, 2025. He was born on September 24, 1950, to the late Jessie and Patty (Dakin) Linton.
Kristopher attended Eastbrook High School and Indiana University, where he received an associate's degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he dedicated 33 years to the United States Postal Service. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion Post 368 in Van Buren, DAV, and 40/8. He loved spending time at Price's Garden Center and never met a stranger.
On January 7, 2008, Kristopher married the love of his life, Lori (Morgan) Linton, who survives him. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Stacy (C.R.) Gillespie; step-son, Patrick McGlothin; sisters, Claudia (Ward) Britt, Carolyn Slater, and Katrina (Myron) Spencer; brother, Camron (Debbie) Linton; sister-in-law, Donna Linton; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Ashley Linton, his son Brook Linton, and his brother Kim Linton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 South Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 18,2025 there will be an hour of visitation, 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. funeral will follow, with burial at Marion National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Legion Post 368 in Van Buren.
