Patty Jo Kearney, 72, of Marion, passed away at 5:11 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Marion Health. She was born in Marion on Saturday, July 1, 1950, to Forrest and Nancy (Harter) Bonham. She was married to her loving husband, Donald Kearney, who survives.
Pat received her associate degree from Ivy Tech. She enjoyed her time working at Alice's Restaurant, Folkie's Tavern, and for Dr. Mike Roper. She retired in 2008 from The Department of Workforce Development. She was a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church and Grant County Senior Center. Pat will be truly missed by her family and will never be forgotten.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, David (Debora) Cox of Syracuse and Pete (Kimberly) Cox of GA; daughter, Beth Anderson of Warsaw; step-daughter, Danielle (Frank) Biddle of Swayzee; sisters, Marla (Michael) Velasquez of Marion, Stephanie (Kenny) Linton of Warsaw, and Brenda Lewelling of TN; brother, Tom Bonham of Marion; special friend, Melody Dugan; granddaughters, Allie Klaffke, Kat Cox, Ashley Stanley, Janelle Hendey, Jennifer Walker-Crawford, Julianne Williams, Shye Lynn Biddle, and Carlee Biddle; grandsons, Jason Hendey, Nolan Cox, Jon Crawford, Reeve Anderson, Brock Biddle, and Coby Biddle; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
