A shining light here on earth has been extinguished. It is with deep sadness all loved ones of Rick Rusby announces his passing on Nov. 21, 2025 in Lincoln, CA.
Rick was born in Marion, IN on Sept. 7, 1947. Son of J. Wilbur & Catherine E Rusby. He graduated from Bennett High School in 1966 where he was awarded the Trojan award being team player on the Varsity Basketball team.
Rick graduated from San Jose State in San Jose, CA with a marketing degree. He spent more than 30 years in Electrical Distribution.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brother James W Rusby, sister Suzanne C Bier, Sally M Rusby, Catherine E Simons.
Lovingly remember by sisters Ann M Ortiz, Margret E. Gemtry and brother Robert P Rusby.
Rick will be remembered for his quick "wit". He put our a garden and was especially fond of his pumpkins. Rest in Peace sweet Brother, Son, Husband, Father, Uncle and Friend.
