Robert Allen Webb's love of life was apparent to all those fortunate enough to encounter him. Rob passed away on Sept. 1, 2021 at the age 64 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by lifting up those around them.
Rob's professional career began at his family's furniture store, Webb's Furniture in Gas City, Indiana and subsequently extended to insurance and annuities at Charles Schwab, Conseco, OneAmerica and Sagicor. Rob's artistic talents shined outside of work and those closest to him were able to enjoy his passion for music, poetry, woodworking and more.
The simplest pleasures in life often brought the greatest joy to Rob. He loved any occasion with family or close friends; cherished rehearsals with the HopeFull Band; eagerly awaited Sunday mornings singing with the Lifepoint Church Worship Team and treasured a peaceful experience around any body of water. Rob had an uncanny ability to inspire happiness and joy to the most mundane moments. His wife Velen, daughter Whitney, son in-law Brian, grandchildren Tyson and Eby, late father Ed, mother Louise, sister Judy, brothers Gene, David and Tim, mother in-law Mary Lou Atkinson and vast community of extended family and friends similarly inspired great joy in Rob's rich and full life.
A visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Both will be held at Lifepointe Church 3233 W 166th Street, Westfield, IN 46062.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Tim Moormon Summer Camp Fund, – Herbst United Methodist Church, 2561 S 600 W, Marion, IN 46953 or the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation in honor of Robert Allen Webb (www.ripkenfoundation.org).

I am a very recent friend in Rob’s life by virtue of our time together on the worship team at LifePointe Church. It was an immediate friendship between us as I’m sure it was for anyone who knew him. He was a great singer to play behind, and he was always ready with his quick wit and a twinkle in his eye. I will miss him as a friend and the opportunities to be with him worship. The only way he was going to improve his poetry was to take it to another level, so heaven has not only received another pure spirit, it has a new poet, too. His family and friends were truly blessed by his life, and I’m so happy he suffers no more.

I will always have fond memories of Rob. I went Canoeing with him and others in the Boundary Waters. He and I decided to take the short cut and skip the "Portage" Well we made it but it was so rough my glasses went one way and I went the other! Somehow I got them! His name popped in my head a year or two ago and I connected with him on Facebook. I am so happy that I was able to share that memory and see he was doing good. He will be missed by many, yet will be alive in our hearts and memories. So long friend; Until we meet again.

To the family Ross Miler Jr sends his love and prayers; as do I, Libby Brewer. I enjoyed the family years ago at Herbst Church; Rob was a very caring and loving person. Love hugs and prayers always with God’s blessings
