S Jean (Ebert) Webb, 73, born June 24, 1951, in Marion, IN. to Richard A. Ebert and Maurine E. (Terrel) Ebert. Jean was a graduate of Marion High School in 1969. Jean married John F. Webb, of Van Buren IN., and remained widowed since his passing December 31st, 2004. Death is never expected nor prepared for, and her passing was sudden, at Community Hospital, Anderson, IN. on March 5th, 2025 at 1:16 a.m.
Jean worked at Osco's, Ball Foster until the closing of the factory, where she then went to United Technologies of Huntington until retirement. She also worked a few other jobs in between layoffs or life, bringing different changes. People also knew her from Weaver Popcorn, Skip N Joes, Folkies and Village Pantry. She was a jack of all trades and taught her daughter, Brandi, it's not where you work, it's how you work and always set goals to shine on!
Jean loved big, even though her nickname was "Mean Jean"., her laugh was contagious, her smile was infectious, her giving to anyone that needed something (whether it be something they didn't want to hear, or needed to hear- she was there) even at her passing she was a donor and gifted eye tissue to hopefully help someone find sight and as her daughter, I am proud of everything she will always be remembered by. Brandi and Jean enjoyed many trips together (especially Shipshewana and Brown County) or even just shopping, being foodie snobs and not to forget our blessed trips to see the ocean, watch dolphins and fly in an airplane up in the heavenly skies, or just hang out and laugh at the squirrels playing and enjoy the cardinals singing, spend time with the littles, or to just sit and gossip together on the porch and dream bigger dreams. She was also a proud grandmom to her fur grandbabies! Loved her Rock and
Roll and had an extensive record and cd collection she was very proud of and that she can always be remembered through.

My favorite memory is when we were out on a date with a couple of guys. We were at one of their houses and the guys went to sleep. We painted ones fingernails. They were brick masons and he had to go to work like that. Good memories.
