Suzanne R. Nelson passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 51 in Denver, Colorado. Born on February 10, 1974, Suzanne dedicated her life to helping others as a Behavioral Health Clinician based in Lakewood, Colorado. She was a cherished graduate of Oak Hill High School and furthered her education at Indiana University, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree.
Suzanne was a person of profound kindness and generosity, characterized by her loving, caring, and giving nature. She had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean with her family and friends, sharing moments that will be forever treasured by those who knew her.
She leaves behind her mother, Janice Nelson; brother, Jeff Nelson; and beloved niece and nephew, Emma and Trevor Nelson. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Mike Nelson.
A service to honor Suzanne's life will be held at Swayzee Community Church on November 8, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by a ceremony at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Suzanne's compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to the well-being of others.
