Mrs. Anna Walton Owens Rosende

Anna Walton Owens Rosende, age 88, died December 13, 2008, in Crystal River, Florida. She was born in Largo, Florida, the daughter of Edward Otto Owens and Hallie Mildred Kearney Owens and the great granddaughter of Philip Dieffenwierth, a pioneer Methodist minister in Pinellas County. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Perkins (husband, Dewitt) of Tallahassee, Florida; a son, Ray Rosende (wife, Kristi) of Crystal River, Florida; four granddaughters (Maryann Kinney, Tallahassee, Florida, Julie Gunn, Prattville, Alabama, Robin Carney, Scottsdale, Arizona, Gwyn Hahn, Virginia Beach, Virginia) and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Rosende. A private family memorial service will be held at the Palmetto Cemetery in Palmetto, Florida. National Cremation Society.
