Arleen J. Vetter, age 78 of Crystal River, FL, went home to God on June 30, 2023 surrounded by her family. Arleen was born on April 10, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to John Betz and Florence (Pleier) Eickman. Arleen moved to Citrus County in 1997 from Bensalem, PA. She was a retired Purchasing Agent and a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church. Arleen led a full life as a loving wife, fabulous mother and grandmother, Girl Scout leader, Band Booster, clogger, stain glass maker, seamstress and quilter, school volunteer and a mom to every friend her family ever had.
Survived by her husband of 59 years, John Vetter; four children, Sandra Mosley (John), Joan Vetter, John Vetter (Rebecca), Sharon Vetter (Chris); one brother, Albert Betz, and seven grandchildren, Emily, Daniel, John, Megan, James, April and Jay.
Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL. A private Mass for the family will be offered at St. Scholastica Church in Lecanto, FL. Interment will be at a later date with her extended family.

Dear John and family,
I am so shocked! Been in and out of town, extremely saddened to hear yesterday, Arleen was such a sweet, kind loving neighbor, we always stop and chitchat about our children and grandchildren that she loved, and was so proud of! years back, she made the best Christmas goodies, and never let on the ones I gave her, I ordered
She knew I couldn“t bake. Memories I will always remember, my deepest condolences to all of you.
