I knew Bruce as a co-worker at the Chronicle for nearly 2 decades. A very talented employee and an easy to like friend.

To me, Bruce was even more than a brother ( in-law), he was a great friend and mentor. In my mid twenties...searching for a career, He took a chance on me, and like him following in his dads footsteps.....I made a 32 yr career of printing. Thank you for that Bruce.

My brother is now at peace
I have received several words of condolences - some have mentioned his dry humor.
There was another more important side of Bruce, that I have experienced from childhood until recently
He was a kind, protective, loving brother.
I am one lucky younger sister to have had a brother that I can call my hero
RIP Brucie
