Catherine Frances Clark (née Canzoneri) 100 years old, of San Diego, CA passed away July 13,2022.
Born in Brooklyn, NY April 10, 1922 to Mario and Frances (Fodera) Canzoneri, she graduated from PS 212, Abraham Lincoln High School and Central Needle High School where she began her lifelong love of sewing. After her marriage to Edward G. Clark, who predeceased her in 1998, she moved to Staten Island, NY then to Budd Lake, NJ when she became a purchasing agent for First National Bank. While there, she became the founder and treasurer of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Foundation.
After moving to Inverness, FL in 1984, she became a charter member of the Citrus Friendship Quilters Guild, founder and facilitator of the Inverness Parkinson's Support Group, a member of St. Scholastica Council of Catholic Women, a volunteer at Citrus Memorial Hospital and a proud member of the American Irish Club.
Catherine was preceded in death by her son Anthony V. Bologna and her seven siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Billie (Michael) Crino, San Diego, CA, Catherine (Raymond) Burns, Budd Lake, NJ, stepdaughter Joyce Beagan, Inverness, FL, stepson Edward (Maryalice) Clark, Staten Island, NY; grandchildren Derrick (Amy) Bologna, Eve Gillis, Caitlin (Andrew) Bellini, Danielle (Bryan) Verbel, Stacey Seidenstucker, Thomas Beagan, Sabrina Clark, Amanda Esposito; great grandchildren Kayla, Michael, Madison, Cameron, Trent, Tyler; cherished sister-in-law Sarah Messina and cherished friend Jeannine Davis.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 8th at 10:00 am from St Scholastica Catholic Church. Fr. James Johnson will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Fero Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home where there will be a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 PM. The church will have a reception immediately following the Mass and prior to leaving for the cemetery.
