Dear Lesley,

Please accept my sincere condolences. The little time I did spend with Charlie was always enjoyable. When we went fishing, he really got a kick out of skidding his boat around corners and turns. I was expecting to roll over and he just took it in stride. Or when he was going after scallops, grabbing his mask and a bag and it was over the side. He would pop up and say “I'm going over there, it's sure to be better hunting, but don't follow me”. Charlie was more afraid of my poor handling of the boat then a random bull shark he might encounter. Our trips to the Gulf were always a good time. You both are in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Dennis Loger

We will miss the great times going out to dinner with Charlie. He had a sly sense of humor. A gentleman to the end and loved his football. He will be missed by all.
