Dakota was born August 19, 2007 to Danielle Streber. He passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home in Crystal River, FL. Dakota was the youngest of 4 children and attended the 7th grade at Crystal River Middle School. Dakota loved to hang out with his friends at Hunter Springs. His life will be forever cherished by his loving family and friends. Dakota will be laid to rest at a later date at Burke Cemetery in Holder, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.

he was a true person very funny, i remember when in the 6th grade we would play around in science class and we would always end up making the teachers laugh you could always count on him to have takis or sum type of snack with him i cant believe this happened to you i love you dakota R.I.P

I remember starting 7th grade with Dakota in Mrs. Helmes's room he always made everybody laugh and smile every morning I haven't seen him ever since I moved away back to my old school you will be missed R.I.P.

Dakota was a very good person and I will miss him very much and he will forever have a place on my heart. He will always be remembered. Dakota was one of my best friends I’ve known him since 2nd grade i loved him in a different way than most people did we dated for a while I fell in love with him and seeing him gone is the hardest thing I’m going through I’m not sure how to cope with my feelings but I’m figuring it out Dakota was a special person and will always have a very special place in my heart

I knew Dakota all my life and knowing that my best friend passed away I’ve never felt the same before, We grew up together, he was my first love, my best friend, when I found out that he died I didn’t know how to react I can’t believe this.
