Daniel Clancy Obituary
Friends of Mr. Daniel George Clancy, age 65 years, of Hernando, may call from 4-7:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Cremation will follow at Hooper Crematory, Inverness. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.hooper funeralhome.com.
He was born February 18, 1958 in Pensacola, Florida, to Thomas Michael and Mabel Bernardine (Wilkerson) Clancy and passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 in Crystal River, Florida.
Mr. Clancy was an Electrical Lineman having worked for several power companies before retiring from Florida Power. He was a member of the Michigan Local 876 and loved fishing, the ocean and the gulf. He was a good and faithful friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents; significant others, Dori Plouff (2020) and Randee Bouchard (2020). Surviving are his 3 sons: Shane Clancy, TX; Ted (Candy) Plouff, Partlow, VA; Cody (Megan) Bouchard, Citrus Springs, FL; a daughter: Kathryn (Bradley) Loucks, Vero Beach, FL; brother: Thomas Michael (Ronda Leah) Clancy Jr, Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren: Braxton, Ade, Azia, Casey, Sarah, Jacob (Ashley), and Scott; and 2 great-grandchildren: Briella Rose and Hailee; a nephew: Sean Brendan Clancy; and good friends, Cary and Crissy Carpenter, Palmyra, VA.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes.
