Debra Verkade Obituary
She is survived by her husband James Verkade, daughter Belinda Verkade, son Miles Verkade and grandson Charlie Hartigan, all of Lecanto, FL.; two sisters: Gloria "Sue" Rainey of Lambert, Michigan and Roberta Miller of Fedscreek, KY and descended brother Charlie Rowe of Linden, Michigan; along with countless extended family that she loved dearly.
She loved being with and taking care of her family and Debra was the true definition of love and happiness. She worked as a site helper for the extended day care program at Lecanto Primary School for over ten years and loved every child as if they were her own. She left impressions on everyone's lives she was a part of, and she will be missed dearly by so many.
Debra will be cremated, her ashes will be returned to her family, and a celebration of her life will be held at her residence after the holidays. Her family will announce the date in the future, and condolences can be sent to Debra's family at 7233 South Rhoder Point, Lecanto, FL 34461 and at www.wilderfuneral.com
