Edward Moff Obituary

Edward G. Moff, age 65, died at his residence on June 7, 2016. Edward was born on January 19, 1951 in Ravenna, OH to the late Eldon and Etta Mae (Jenkins) Moff. He was employed as a maintenance worker for the oil industry throughout his life. On July 1st, 1987 Edward married Starr Claybourne with whom he shared 28 loving years of marriage. In 1991, he and Starr made Citrus County their home after moving from Atwater, OH. In his youth, Edward was a member of the Future Farmers of America and had continued to be a supporter of that organization. While living in Atwater, OH he had been a volunteer fireman. Locally, Edward was a member of the Citrus Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. He was extremely skilled in small engine repair and was a fan of all John Deere outdoor equipment. Edward truly loved spending his spare time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, a great father and wonderful "Papa" to his grandchildren.
Those left to mourn Edward's passing and cherish his memory are his wife: Starr Moff of Inverness, FL; daughters: Crystal Claybourne-Clements and her husband Daniel of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Amber Steiner and her husband Chris of Sanford, NC; son: Neil Moff of Gillette, WY; and eight grandchildren: Alex, Benjamin, Ashley, Sophia, William, Lincoln Bowen and Kyle; brother: Charles Moff of Randolph, OH; sisters: Mary Simons and her husband Marshall of Alliance, OH, Juanita Dye and her husband Lowell of Alliance, OH, Lynne Simons and her husband Clyde of Canton, OH. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Joseph Moff, William Moff, Ernest Moff, Thomas Moff and one sister: Donna Simons.
A memorial service will be planned by the Moff family for a later date. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, is assisting the family with private arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr Moff's passing, I was his nurse for as many years as I can remember, we always enjoyed a laugh and busted each others chops every time we could. I thoroughly enjoyed having him in my professional life and I was always glad to see him and you. I am sorry the world has lost a great man.My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
