Frances Palka Obituary
Frances J. Palka, 89, of Inverness, FL, passed away January 20, 2024, at Life Care Center of Citrus County in Lecanto, FL. She was born in Oak Grove, FL, on December 16, 1934, to the late William Clarence and Virginia (Kimmel) Jones.
Frances was a dedicated homemaker, a mother, and Baptist by faith. She and husband Frank returned to this area in 1998, coming from Clearwater, FL. Frances enjoyed playing bridge, going to lunch, shopping, and traveling with her sisters and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank M. Palka in 2015. Survivors include her children Frank E. (Virginia) Palka of Placitas, NM, Jennifer (Sean) Steller of Clearwater, FL, and Suzanne Beal of Inverness; brother Charles (Elsie) Jones of Inverness; sisters Hazel Snow of Perry, FL, and Mary Gene Patrick of Brooksville, FL; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life for Frances will be held on Saturday, February 10, 1:00 p.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
