We met Joan at Christmas time 1998. She was a neighbor and new found friend of my Mother in law Sheron. She was delightful, witty. After we moved to Inverness she was the first person we saw. As the years passed we saw less of her as we moved around. Whenever she saw us it was with joy and a smile.
