Joel Pelton Obituary
Mr. Pelton is preceded in death by grandparents Jim Pelton, Nikki Lundberg, and Phillip Littell. Survivors include his parents, Jay Pelton (Kimberly) and Suzette Steffer (Scott), brother, Jacob Pelton, grandmother, Dianne Littell, step-brothers, Matthew Sundquist and Tyler Sundquist, step-sisters Naomi Steffer and Leah Steffer, aunts Vikki Breen (Mark) and Eileen Jenkin, cousins Nick Breen (Nicole), Bekki Breen, Xander Jenkin, and Max Jenkin.

I remember that Joel and I used to hangout a lot at church and youth group. We looked out for each other and have been there for each other as well.

Joel and I grew up together at Gulf To Lake Church and he was one of my good friends. We went to group together. He was so funny, nice, sweet, loving, and caring. He always had people laughing and smiling no matter what. He was pretty fun to hangout with. I am going to miss him so much!!!

It's crazy how we were talking about hitting the gym together soon just the other week.. you've taught me wrestling moves that I'll never forget, shown me places that I haven't seen . My heart is hurting for family and friends. Joel was an adventurous and brave young man who brought many smiles to my face throughout time spent watching him growup in Sugarmill Woods. Words cannot express how sad I feel at the loss of a wonderful person like Joel. This tragedy effects so many, Joel was the kind of guy that always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was like a brother to me for my entire childhood, from playing with LEGO's, to manhunt nights, to soccer games and more. I never imagined this day would come. Though I cannot be at the service, I am sending all of my love, thoughts, and prayers to his family at this time. We will NEVER forget you Joel, your memory will live on with us all.
