John Stoval Terrell, age 78, of Inverness, Florida passed away on May 23, 2022 at Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto, Florida after several years with dementia. The week before at home, surround by family, Johnny stated he was ready to meet Jesus and asked someone to pray.
Johnny was born on December 4, 1943 in Lenoir City, TN to the late Dr. Leland Terrell and June (Gann) Terrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sons, Todd Stoval Terrell (1968), John Leland Terrell (2020), brothers Patrick and Woodrow, sisters Josephine and Muriel, stepfather Esley Mobley, in-laws Chubby and Gladys (Parmer) Faucette, brother-in-law Bob Faucette and sister-in-law Peggy Armstrong.
Johnny graduated from Citrus High School, Class of 1961. He attended two years at CFCJ in Ocala. In December of 1963, he was offered a job with Radiation (Harris Corporation) in Melbourne, FL. He married his first love Patricia "Patsy" Faucette, moved to Brevard County, and built a beautiful life with their boys, Todd, John and Jason. After 27 years as a hard-working, dedicated manager for Harris Corporation, he retired. His next journey would lead him to the mountains of North Carolina, where he and Pat owned and managed a six bedroom bed and breakfast, the Terrell House in Burnsville, NC. They chose to retire in Citrus County to be with family, and he enjoyed the role of Uncle Johnny to his grandnieces and grandnephews.
Johnny loved his family way more than he loved cruises and Johnny loved to cruise. He collected antique tools and had a talent for woodworking. Most Saturday nights, you could find him in the stands at the speedway.
Johnny is survived by his wife Pat of 58 years, son Jason, Inverness, sisters; Judy (Ed) Eaton, Janet (Robbie) Connor, nephew Esley, nieces Kim, Kerri and Katy, Melbourne, sister-in-law Tamy (Eric) Hagen, brother-in-law David Armstrong, nephews; Mike Armstrong and Chad Hauser, nieces; Melissa Rice, Terra Ross, Trish Massengill, all of Citrus Co., many more relatives and many great friends.

I met Johnny and Pat when I traveled to their B&B when in Burnsville on business.
I have spent many nights at the Terrell House. I enjoyed my stays at the B&B and felt like I was staying in the home of friends. Johnny was an awesome man that reflected the love of Christ.
All my best to Patsy and the entire family.
