Joyce M. Trygar of Crystal River, Fl. was greeted at heavens gates by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 22, 2022. God gifted Joyce to Francis and Geraldine Specht on April 10, 1952 in Rahway, N.J.
She graduated from Toms River High School in 1970, married Ed in 1973 and she and her family relocated to Florida in 1983 for Ed to fulfill a carrier in the Nuclear Power Industry.
Joyce was a caring and fun-loving person who lived for and cherished her four grandchildren. In her quest to teach children, she found joy in serving as a teacher's aide at both Seven Rivers Christian School and Rock Crusher Elementary School until medical issues forced her to retire.
At those schools, she met many lifelong friends who helped her through 12 years of medical challenges. She has been a member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church since 1983 where she was first introduced to Jesus.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Geraldine Frentz, Ed Trygar (her loving husband of 49 yrs.), and two sons Edmund (Beth) Trygar and Timothy (Tiffany) Trygar, and four grandchildren Edmund IV & Jefferson (E) and Arilyn & Anthony (T).
A funeral service will be held at Seven Rivers Church on Saturday Nov. 12 with visitation at 9:00 AM followed by a service at 10:00. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in Lecanto in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the National Kidney Foundation. (donations @kidney.org)

I gave the boys a pet rat from my classroom when I quit teaching. It became sick and the boys begged their mom to take it to the vet. It needed surgery to remove a tumor. The cost was well over $100. Joyce laughed it off saying expensive surgery for a $10 rat! Funny lady! She will be missed! Prayers for Ed and the rest of the family! Karen Thomas
