Edwina and Family....My deepest sympathy ...
Larry was one of the best racing announcers around and a all around good guy. Racing Roundup TV show got Larry to call the show many times. He would give us up dates and race results from Citrus County Speedway. He was the track announcer at that track over 30 years. Larry told me he was announcer at the old Tri-City speedway in St.Pete. Then went on to be announcer for Sunshine Speedway under Dan Jones.
One of the high lites of his announcer day's was when he did the NASCAR Fire cracker 400 over at Daytona one time. Larry had been a auto racing announcer for over 50 years. Him and his voice over the mic will be missed...God Speed Larry...

Larry: The Voice of the Citrus County Speedway....It was such a great honor to be able to work along side of Larry in the tower at the speedway. I have known Larry for a little bit over a year now, and I am so glad that I got to be a part of his life. He is such an amazing person. Since, he has been gone from the speedway these past few weeks, with going to the doctors and etc. I have missed him there so much, he's so good at annoucing and working the scoreboard....no one else can do both :).....Every saturday night we were like family at the back gate and the tower, I would take notes and do his paperwork for him until he arrived. He will be dearly missed! Ok Larry...Now get that speedway started up in heaven before I arrive.....
