LeRoy Arnold, 78, of Homosassa, Fla., died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at the hospice House of Citrus County. He was born Aug. 7, 1935, to Jennie Elizabeth and George E. Arnold in Plant City and came here over 50 years ago from Hallandale. He was the owner operator of Arnold and Son Paving Co. He loved playing guitar with his many friends, motorcycles, and his beloved cats, Bubby and Sweetie.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie and Raymond Arnold. He is survived by his companion, Connie Arnold; sons, Edwin and Gary (Colleen) Arnold; brother, David (Glenda) Arnold; and sister, Linda (James) Stack; grandchildren, Tiffany Sieverts, Jeffery Arnold, Eddie Arnold and Jennifer (Eric) Nitz; great-grandson, Joel Rogers.
There will be no calling hours at the Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday March 8, 2014, from the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Crystal River. For those who wish please consider a memorial contribution to the Humanitarians of Citrus County or to Hospice of Citrus County.

I was so sorry to here of Leroy's passing away. He was a regular customer of mine at Lees Hobbies. I always enjoyed our visits. He always had a smile and a handshake for me. I was glad to have known him.
