Linda Faye Elliott, 88, of Inverness, passed away peacefully at her residence under the care of her loving family and Vitas Hospice on October 28, 2025. Born March 6, 1937, in Newark, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Sara Wilson Levingston.
Linda relocated to Inverness from St. Petersburg in 2004 with her loving husband Donald. She was Protestant by faith and gave of herself in many ways. Linda volunteered for Citrus United Basket for 15 years and also dedicated her time to Toys for Tots.
She cherished family above all else. Linda loved her weekly Wednesday family night dinners, annual girls' vacations with her daughters, and Christmas cookie day traditions shared with her daughters and granddaughters. These moments brought her immense joy and created memories her family will hold close forever.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald, who passed in 2008; her brother, Kenneth Levingston; her sisters, Carol Dunlap and Shirley "Jo" Cutright; and her granddaughter, Nicki.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Donald L. (Lisa) Elliott of Seminole, FL, Kathy McCabe of Inverness, FL, Kristy (Dean) Moore of St. Petersburg, FL, Karen (Elljay) Hartzig, and Kelly (Jerry) Hibbetts, both of Inverness, FL; her sisters, Virginia Mills of Newark, OH, and Patricia Sutton of St. Peters, MO; along with seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Citrus United Basket.
Private arrangements are in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home.

I only knew Ms. Elliott for a few years. The instant you see her a warmth overcomes you. A huge smile appears on your face and no matter the mood you were in, you now feel peace and comfort. Thats how it was for me. I will miss you mama Elliott.
