Linda Perry Obituary

Linda Ann Boren Perry, 58, a Crystal River, Fla., resident and Detroit, Mich. native, was born Sept. 12, 1953, and died May 13, 2012, at Hospice House of Citrus County in Lecanto, Fla., following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ulysses and Sepal Flogene "Jean" Harrell Boren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Norma Charlene Boren; brother-in-law, J.C. Phillips; and sisters-in-law, Thelma King and Rachel Ray.
She was married June 5, 1975, to Homer Perry of Crystal River, Fla. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Michael (Stephanie) Perry of Crystal River, Fla., and Jenni Perry of Beverly Hills, Fla.; grandchild, Elizabeth Louise Perry; two sisters, Glenna Boren (David) Godwin and Carolyn Boren (Phillip) Clemons, all of McMinnville, Tenn.; two nieces and one nephew, Sarah Jean Godwin, Hayle Clemons and Davey Godwin; five sisters-in-law, Jean (Elmer) King of Beersheba Springs, Tenn., Catherine Phillips and Glenda (Donnie) Clendenon all of McMinnville, Tenn.; Christine Perry of Spencer, Tenn., and Avis (Jeff) Scruggs of Palmer, Tenn.; four brothers-in-law, James (Sharon) Perry of Inverness, Fla., Malcolm Perry and David (Tressa) Perry, all of McMinnville, Tenn., and Glen King of Beersheba Springs, Tenn.; and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Mrs. Perry was an office manager for a landscaping company and member of the Church of Christ. Funeral service will be Friday, May 18, 2012, at 11 a.m. (CST) in High's Chapel with Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, McMinnville, Tenn. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at High's. Arrangements by High Funeral Home, McMinnville, Tenn., 931-473-2137.
