Mary O’Farrell Obituary

Mary O'Farrell, age 66 of Hernando, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
Mary was born August 27, 1955 in Saint Petersburg, FL, daughter of Donald and Shirley (Moose) Housley. She moved to Citrus County, FL from Saint Petersburg, FL in 1995. Mary loved all Tampa Bay sports and NASCAR. Mary worked for the Pinellas County School Board and for the Citrus County School Board in child care.
She was preceded in death by father, Donald Housley, mother, Shirley Housley, sister, Shirley Sterner, sister, Donna Bryant, and sister, Marilyn Housley. Survivors include loving husband, William J. O'Farrell of Hernando, FL, brother, Donald Housley of Seattle, WA, sister, Debra Housley, 2 stepdaughters, great grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that those who wish may make donations to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.HooperFuneralHome.com. Arrangements are by the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Our hearts are broken over the death of our dear neighbor and friend of 25 years. Mary was a wonderful, caring woman and we will miss her terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and especially her loving husband Billy.
