Marylyn Judge-Frankllin Obituary

Marylyn Lee Judge-Franklin 61 of Citrus Springs, Florida went to be with her lord on Feb 23, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends and passed peacefully holding her sons hand. Marylyn was born on July 7th,1954 in St. Pete, FL to Ramona (Albury) Judge and Norman Judge. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nonie Cox and her nieces Shelby and Shalee Samples, Shane Torres as well as her nephews Justin Judge and David Harvey. She is survived by her husband and lifelong love Leon Franklin, her son Matthew (Amanda) Judge, stepdaughter, Samantha (Morris) Atkins. Her grandchildren, who she adored more than anything, Shaylyn, Austin, and Kaylee Judge, A'niyia and Arianna Atkins. Her sisters Linda (Franklin) Samples, Sharon (Craig) Newton, Darleen (Dale) Spence. Marylyn's only brother, Danny (Alma) Judge. Her Uncle Jerry (Joyce) Albury. Cousins Pat Bottoms, Cathy McNally, Jamie (Gary) Lewis, Sherry (Howard) Beede.
Marylyn was blessed with more nieces and nephews than you could imagine, she was known as Aunt Mimi and she adored watching each grow into their own special person. For many years she was a cook and manager at local landmarks like "The Pyramid" restaurant, "Johnny Stones Steakhouse", and "Pecks Old Port Cove." Marylyn found her calling and enjoyed having her salon "Nails 2000", in Crystal River the most and continued to do nails for a select few until her untimely death. She was a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary Post 10087 and to the American Legion ladies auxiliary Post 155.
She was an avid cruiser and enjoyed taking trips to Biloxi or the Caribbean with anyone she could talk into going. She traveled, prospected for gold, was the camp cook for our cub-scout adventures, and went to dance recitals, school plays and fundraisers. She was kind and loving with an easy smile and infectious laugh, she made our lives complete. Marylyn will be missed by all who knew and loved her more than she could have ever imagined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marylyn's name to the wonderful people at Hospice of Citrus County.
