Nancy Davis

1949 - 2021

Nancy McGan Davis, 71, of Crystal River, FL passed away September 15, 2021.
She was born on December 5, 1949 in Davy, WV where she attended Welch High School in Welch, WV and graduated with honors. Nancy attended West Virginia University where she majored in Nursing, earning her bachelor's degree in 1971. She moved to FL in 1977 and began working at the Department of Health. She was a hard worker and eventually became the Nursing Director for Citrus County. She was a great mentor, boss and friend. She was witty, smart and always could find humor in any situation. She was also a loving mother, grandmother and faithful wife. She loved her faith and was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church, always willing to talk to people about Jesus. She enjoyed nursing, history, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was always available to help others and touched so many lives on and off the clock.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ron; 2 sons Kurt (Christel) Davis and Brian (Kristie) Green; 7 grandchildren Alex, Wyatt, Sophie, Carly, Keaten, Karsen and Carrissa. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph McGan; mother, Anna McGan; and brother Richard McGan.
Family will receive friends for visitation from 10AM-11AM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11AM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Bible Baptist Church in Crystal River, FL. Burial will follow at Fountains Memorial Park Cemetery in Homosassa, FL. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the PSP and CBD Foundation.
