In Loving Memory of Pamela Jean Finley
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean Finley, who departed this life on November 16th, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 18th, 1948, in Denver, Colorado, Pamela was the cherished daughter of Betty Jean O'dea and Kenneth O'dea.
Pamela made Crystal River, Florida, her home and became a pillar of the community through her years as a dedicated business owner. Her entrepreneurial spirit fueled several key establishments throughout the area, including Castaways Bar and Grill, Backwater Fins and Ms Fins Oar House. She was renowned for her warm smile and generous heart, always making those around her feel truly welcomed. Her steadfast commitment to her work and her unwavering kindness touched countless lives.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, David Finley; two devoted daughters, Melissa Johnson (with her husband David Johnson) and Kathleen Frazier; two sons, Thomas Finley (with his wife Heather Finley) and Scott Finley (with his wife Stephanie Finley); several adoring grandchildren; and her two brothers, Howard David O'dea and Terry Micheal O'dea.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love, and she will be deeply missed by her family and by all who had the privilege to know her.
A Memorial Service in honor of Pamela will be held on December 15th, 2025, at Seven Rivers Church in Crystal River, Florida. Following the service, friends and loved ones are invited to gather at Backwater Fins for a Celebration of Life, where stories will be shared, glasses raised, and heartfelt toasts made to a life beautifully lived. In memory of Pamela Finley, her love and support of our veterans and first responders.
Contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers in lieu of flowers, supporting a cause close to Pamela's heart.
Pamela's legacy of kindness, dedication, and community involvement will be cherished forever. Her memory will continue to inspire all who remember her generous spirit and unwavering warmth.

Dear Dave and family...I don't even know what to say except that I will always remember the kindness that Pam and you too Dave, showed me throughout our friendship. And, even though I haven't seen you all in a very long time, I always thought of you both fondly. I send my love and deepest sympathy to you all.

My beautiful mother was nothing short of Amazing. She showered her children with love, encouragement and understanding. She was kind and giving. She saw the best in people even at their worst. She was funny and charismatic. She could light up any room she entered. My heart is broken and now an empty space sits vacant. I love you mom. I´ll miss you mom. I know you will be watching from above keeping us safe as our very own guardian angel. I was never ready to say goodbye to you. I´ll cherish all our memories together for the rest of my life here on earth. I love you for ever. Your mini me Kathy
