Patsy Ann Kilpatrick, age 77, of Hernando, Florida passed away on January 24, 2024. She was born on December 29, 1946, in Houston, Texas.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Patsy was known for her sweet and kind nature, always bringing happiness and joy to those around her. She loved spending time with family and friends. Patsy had a passion for camping, bowling, music, dancing, crafts and especially traveling. These hobbies brought her great joy throughout her life.
In her educational journey, Patsy graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas in 1965. She went on to hold various positions over her working years in Texas and Michigan including administrative assistant, dental assistant, school bus driver and office manager. Patsy's dedication and hard work were evident in all that she did.
Patsy was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto, Florida where she found solace and strength in her faith. Her devotion to her religion was an important aspect of her life.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Steve Kilpatrick, and her children: Joe Woodland (wife Melissa), Jason Woodland, and Sherry Kemp (husband Zak) and brother, Johnny Allen, Jr. (wife Pam). Patsy was also a proud grandmother to Gracie, Abby, Preston, Ashley, and Asa. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel McBee, father A.C. Green, stepfather Johnny Allen, Sr., and sister Sherry Green.
A visitation to honor Patsy's life will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 2-5pm at Brown Funeral Home in Lecanto, FL. A funeral mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 3rd at St. Scholastica Catholic Church. The compassionate staff at Brown Funeral Home, located at 5430 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461, will be assisting the family with the arrangements during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, Tribute contributions in Patsy's honor can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (lbda.org))or Parkinson's Foundation (parkinson.org). Patsy Ann Kilpatrick will be remembered for her loving nature, joyful spirit, and the lasting impact she had on the lives of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
