It is with deep sorrow that the family of Polina Annette Wright announces her tragic death on September 19th, 2024, at the age of 25.
Polina was born on December 31st, 1998, and was raised in Floral City, Florida by her parents Jon and Karen Wright.
After graduating from Citrus High School in 2018, she went on to study accounting at the College of Central Florida, where she earned her Associate's Degree.
Utilizing her strength of attention to detail, she spent two years working as a bookkeeper in Citrus County before moving to Ocala in 2021, where she continued her work in accounts payable. Polina was looking forward to transitioning into a new career as an optometrist tech and had plans to return to school at CF to further her education, hoping to one day work as a Radiology Technologist.
Polina was a gentle soul who spread so much joy and warmth, lighting up every room she walked into with her smile and dimples. Some of her favorite days were spent at home, cuddling up with her cat, Ally, and rewatching Friends or New Girl. She was a lover of food; both eating, especially chips and salsa, and cooking, always known to follow recipes to a T. On a Saturday morning, you could find her at the Farmer's Market, picking up fresh ingredients for her recipes.
One of Polina's many gifts was making people laugh, often unintentionally, with her quick-witted remarks. She went to comedy shows whenever she got the chance and had the most infectious laugh. She also had a deep love for music and recently got to see her favorite artist, Jessie Murph, in concert.
Polina was a rockstar with our most precious gift- children. She babysat for so many families in the community and was loved by all. Polina's greatest joy was becoming an aunt. Her daily FaceTime calls with her niece, River, were the best part of her day and she was excited to be planning a trip to visit her nephew, Levi, who lives in Washington, DC. She was the absolute best Auntie!
She is survived by her parents, Karen and Jon Wright, as well as her 5 siblings: Rebecca (Jacob) Baker, Ben (Maddy) Wright, Greg (Isabella) Wright, Gabby Wright, and Polina's twin sister, Julia (Dalton) Dawson. Her memory will also live on through her precious nieces and nephews: Angelica, River, and Levi. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as dear friends.
A memorial service for Polina will be held Friday, September 27th, at 6:00 p.m. at Seven Rivers Church, 4221 W Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461.
In honor of Polina's memory, flowers may be sent to Seven Rivers Church, address listed above, or a donation may be made to a charity of your choosing.

I love all of you so much! I also know how bad you are hurting. I wish I knew a way to take your pain away. I will always be here for you when you need to talk or cry or just have a friend to hold you tight!

I am so sad I can't attend the service. Polina was the absolute sweetest, and she was well-loved by her sweet family. My heart breaks for the Wrights! Prayers going out for them. I look forward to seeing her again one day!

I will never forget how Polina was there for me when my mother passed away when we were in high school. She comforted me and reminded me that God has a plan for everyone and to keep my faith in him. I would meet her everyday after school just to talk for a few minutes before going home. She was so smart, funny and sweet. Rest in Heaven

Polina was a student of mine and her infectious smile would brighten my classroom. She´d often just stop in to say "hi" or visit her sister Julia when she was in my classroom. The loss of a student hurts the hardest especially when they touched your heart like Polina did. Many prayers to the family and especially her twin Julia. you girls. Once a Boudreau student, ALWAYS a Boudreau student.

Polina worked a short time at the Elections Office in Marion County. She was a smart and beautiful young lady who I just adored. You will be loved by many and missed by all.
