Left to treasure his memory is his beloved wife of 19 years, Sharron Thornton and many dear friends.
A Eucharistic Requiem will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Inverness. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

I've known Ray since I was a kid. I worked with Ray on his farm with all his cows (his babies).
He has been a very important part of my life for the last 10 years and has always been there for me. Always kind and always generous. He was more than a good friend, he was a Father figure and I loved him and will miss him dearly.
God Bless you Ray. I appreciate you very much and will miss you.

Ray was a warm and loving man of God, and a wonderful lifelong acting father to Chuck Rice, his right hand man of his cattle ranch. With sincere appreciation for always being there~you will be greatly missed. Love, Sara Wiggins
