Richard Allen Hauter Sr.

Richard Allen Hauter, Sr., 79, of Crystal River, FL went to be with the Lord September 29, 2018. He was born on January 1, 1939 in Morenci, MI to Herbert and Bonnie Hauter. He served his country under the direction of the US Army. Richard drove truck for Jones Transfer for most of his life and retired with the Teamsters Union. He was a member of Crystal River Church of God and very involved in the Sonshine Adventures Prison Ministries, and the Saturday Morning Crystal River Men's Prayer Breakfast. He loved fishing, classic cars and watching the sun set. Richard was a true humanitarian and was always helping people in need. He loved his children and grandchildren; he just loved people.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert and his wife Gloria Jean Hauter. Richard is survived by his mother Bonnie Hauter; children Richard Allen Hauter, Jr. of Hernando, FL, Randall Aaron Hauter, Sr., of Beverly Hills, FL, Rodney (Evelyn) Allan Hauter of Homosassa, FL, Rachel (Robert) Andrea Bilby of Crystal River, FL, Ronald (Lorra) Andrew Hauter of Crystal River, FL and Robert Abram Hauter, Sr., of Crystal River, FL; sisters Nancy (Art) Spackey of Temperance, MI and Judy Hutchinson of MO; grandchildren Randall Hauter, Jr., Ryan Hauter, Christopher Hauter-Albury, Jacob Hauter, Bethany Hauter, Matthew Hauter, Thomas Hauter, Reese Bilby, Andrea Bilby, Andrew Bilby, Michelle Bilby, Tara Rivers, Darien Hauter, Ronald Hauter, Caleb Hauter, Mark Hauter, Gloria Hauter, Robert Hauter, Jr., Mitchell Hauter, Richard Hauter; great-grandchildren Jayson Bilby, Amelia Bilby, Aria Rivers, William Rivers, Malachi Hauter, Abel Hauter and baby Wyatt Hauter on the way.
Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Crystal River Church of God with a service beginning at 12PM. Burial will take place Monday, October 8, 2018 at 9:30AM, at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with full military honors. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
