Victor Heiser Obituary

Victor Francis Heiser, 86, Inverness, Florida, and formerly of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, November 26, 2009, in Nashville, TN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 4, 2009, at 10:00 A.M. from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with military honors. The family will receive friends in visitation from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness.
Victor was born on February 23, 1923, in Glassport, Pennsylvania, to the late Michael and Veronica Heiser. He served our country in the United States Army during WWII. He retired from U.S. Steel. Victor was a member of the Elks and American Legion while residing in Pennsylvania. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He was a wonderful family man who dearly loved his children and doted on his grandchildren.
His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Susan Heiser, Inverness; his son, Warren D. and wife Delia Heiser, Sicily; daughter, Melinda and her husband John Tucci, Naperville, IL; two sisters, Dorothy Ellis, North Huntingdon, PA, and Berniece Palmiero, Glassport, PA; and seven grandchildren, David, Alan and Elizabeth Tucci and Nicole, Kimberly, Stephanie and David Heiser. He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Heiser.
