(nee Schauer), wife of 40 years to Wayne Partin, classy, crazy, one-of-a-kind and amazing mother to Ryan Wayne Partin (partner Jordan Kirksey) of Atlanta GA and Christopher Michael Partin, youngest daughter of Pauline Schauer and the late Clifford Schauer, daughter-in-law of the late Millard and Sophie Partin, baby sister of Gene (Margie) Schauer of Batavia, Marvin Schauer of Katy TX, Ernie (Julie) Schauer of Milford, Jerry (Patricia) Schauer of Clearwater FL, Patricia (Sam) Lahm-Allen-Carroll of London KY, Linda (late Jim) Fraley-Bushman of Batavia, Eloise (Robert) Hirschauer of Owensville and the late Russell (partner Heather Sutter) Schauer of Cincinnati and Almeda (late Dick) Frantz of Jonestown PA, sister-in-law to Rita (Kenneth) Wilson of Knoxville TN and the late Eugene (Julie) Slusher of Batavia, loving aunt who was more like a sister to over 40 nieces and nephews and will be dearly missed by countless friends. April, a longtime resident of Union and Batavia Townships, died November 7, 2013 at the age of 60. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11 from 5-8 PM at the First Baptist Church of Glen Este (same church where Wayne and April were married on July 7, 1973), 1034 Old St. Rt. 74, Batavia OH 45103. The funeral ceremony will be at the church on Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Walk Ahead for a Brain Tumor Cure; www.walkahead.org. E.C. Nurre Funeral Home of Amelia serving the family.

My sweet sister April,
It's been a year since you earned your Angel wings, it hardly seems real. Your family misses you so much, it's been difficult to not be able to talk and spend time with you. I can't make myself delete your cell number from my phone and I've accidentally called it a few times, only to have some other person answer that has your number. That upsets me that someone has that number (crazy right).

You would be so proud of Chris and the changes he has made. He is doing so well, he regrets that it didn't happen prior to you leaving us, but I know you are ecstatic with his success. It's been difficult for Wayne and the boys not to have you here, they miss you so much. Though the day to day life events go on their hearts are broken. As I know yours was broken to have to leave them.

Besides your brothers and sisters missing you your nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews are deeply sadden by your death. You were so loved by all.

I love you April and miss you to the moon and back.
